What I Learned About Starting an Online Business

Is it true that you can earn free money fast and easy online? Yes, you can. However, it is important to have a mentor, support and a plan of action.
By skills I mean, you can't just set up website willy nilly and expect to get traffic to come to your website. I didn't know this when I caught the "I want to make money online" virus and my meager results showed it. It wasn't until I found mentoring and a real step-by-step plan on how to start an online business that I started experiencing some success.
Here is what I learned:
1) How to chose keywords for my topic. Keywords are important because you need to use specific keywords so that people can find your content through search engines.
2) Who will host my website? You can either use free webhosting or paid webhosting. It depends on the results you are looking for. Remember, you are at the mercy of the webhosting service if it is free because if you pay for it. You will be able to modify any aspect of the website you want. Some experienced bloggers with a huge readership have stated that they wish they had started out with paid hosting and didn't want to make any changes because their readership was so huge.
3) How do I publicize my blog? Make sure you ping it after you make updates so that the search engines know that you made changes to your blog.
